We serve families across Taiwan, all online. What differs by city is the exam: some have a Cambridge venue of their own and some do not.
Hsinchu English tutor
Hsinchu has its own venue: yle.tw holds two sittings there in 2027, on 18 April and 3 October. About a third of PLI students over five years have come from Hsinchu families. Zhubei families start here.
Taipei English tutor
Of the three Cambridge centres we track, Taipei has the most dates and all three hold sittings there. The popular sittings fill before their deadlines, though. New Taipei and Keelung families start here too.
Kaohsiung English tutor
PLI was founded in Kaohsiung in 2020. Kaohsiung has no public Cambridge venue, so this page gives the three numbers to call and where the nearest sitting is.

The Three Things Parents Ask First
Will my child pass?
In KET, PET and FCE, the Cambridge exams that do have a pass mark, every PLI student who has sat one has passed to date: a 100% pass rate. Starters, Movers and Flyers have no pass or fail; results come as shields.
Will my child stay?
Students stay more than three years on average. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees, and students stay because the progress is visible, week after week.
What comes after?
Students have gone on to schools including Arizona State University. Read Kevin's path from online lessons to a US degree.
